Will you add to the wildlife wall - and demand action on deforestation?
Humpback whales were once on the brink – but when the world banned commercial whaling, they bounced back. Now they’re no longer threatened.
Tackling deforestation could be the same turning point – for koalas, pink-tailed worm-lizards and thousands more species.
But it won’t happen unless we push for it. Reforming Australia’s environment laws is our best chance.
- Add a photo (or artwork or drawing) of your favourite species threatened by deforestation.
- Include a short message about why it matters to you. Is it near your home? Do you have a special connection to it?
- We’ll package these up and send them to key decision-makers.

WHY THIS MATTERS
The biggest environmental policy moment of our time
Strong environment laws could finally tackle the destruction caused by large-scale deforestation and land clearing in Australia.
Reform of our national environment laws is our once-in-a-generation chance to close the loopholes, require assessment of logging, and give our native wildlife a fighting chance.
