What's the consultation all about?

Right now, AGL is seeking to take over two Sydney Harbours' worth of water from the Latrobe River for the rehabilitation of the Loy Yang A coal mine. Taking such a massive amount of water from a river system already under strain from climate change is a significant decision—and it’s one we need to get right.

The government is currently seeking community feedback on the application. The deadline for submissions is fast approaching – 15 December at midnight

EJA lawyers have put together a simple guide to help you write an effective submission. You can find the guide and more information here.
