For the first time in our country’s history, First Peoples and a state government have reached a Treaty agreement.
This moment recognises Aboriginal peoples’ enduring relationship with their lands, waters, cultures and communities, and affirms their right to shape decisions about the future. So what does Treaty mean for the environment, for Country, and for climate justice?
Join us online for Walking Together: Treaty and the Environment, a conversation hosted by Environment Victoria, Friends of the Earth, 350.org, Common Threads, the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria and Environmental Justice Australia.
