Premier Daniel Andrews, our forests and right to protest must be protected!
The Andrews government is trying to introduce draconian new laws to silence people protesting illegal logging in native forests.
If passed, this could mean people attempting to prevent native forest logging in Victoria will face fines of up to $21,000 or 12 months in jail.
Instead of regulating the logging industry and cracking down on illegal logging, our state’s Premier is trying to introduce draconian laws to demonise concerned citizens protesting native forest logging.
Together, we can push for these laws to be withdrawn and for our government to focus on the protection of our environment and communities.
