Stop Victoria's draconian anti-forest protest laws

The Victorian Government is trying to introduce draconian new laws to silence people protesting illegal logging in native forests.

They could regulate the logging industry, regenerate our forests, and crack down on illegal logging.

But instead, the Victorian government is trying to introduce extraordinary penalties and possible jail time to stop concerned citizens from protesting.

If these laws get through, people attempting to prevent native forest logging in Victoria will face fines of up to $21,000 or 12 months in jail.

This is politically motivated crackdown on legitimate political expression. It is undemocratic and unnecessary.
